This industrial gigabit media converter connects copper Ethernet networks directly to fibre optics. It converts 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 connections to 1000SX/LX fibre through an SFP slot. You can install a multimode, single-mode, or CWDM SFP transceiver depending on your network needs. Moreover, the expansion SFP slot allows additional flexibility for future upgrades.

Designed for industrial and harsh environments, this converter operates reliably between –20°C and +60°C. Its rugged plastic enclosure supports DIN-rail or wall mounting, which ensures easy installation in cabinets, racks, or outdoor enclosures.

The converter improves network performance by supporting jumbo frames up to 9K, flow control, and store-and-forward switching. Additionally, the link-alarm function alerts administrators immediately if fibre or copper connections fail, helping maintain uptime and network integrity.

You can power the device with 12–48 V DC through the terminal block or DC jack. Therefore, it integrates easily into various industrial or enterprise power setups. Furthermore, it complies with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3x standards, providing a robust, standards-compliant solution for extending Ethernet networks over long distances via fibre.
